Inside, you’ll find refinished hardwood floors throughout, a fully remodeled kitchen stocked with everything you need, and spacious living areas designed for gathering and relaxing. Whether you’re cooking a full meal, enjoying coffee in the morning light, or winding down after a day of exploring, the home offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

The layout is ideal for larger groups or families, with five bedrooms total. Four bedrooms are located upstairs—including a king room, a queen room, and two additional rooms each featuring a double and a twin bed—while a downstairs bedroom with two twin beds provides a convenient option for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.

Out back, the large, fully fenced yard is a standout feature. It’s perfect for letting kids or pets run freely, hosting a casual BBQ on the grill, or simply enjoying a quiet evening outdoors. The space invites you to slow down and soak in the charm of the neighborhood.

Speaking of the neighborhood, Merrimack is one of Huntsville’s most storied areas. Originally built as a mill village, the homes share a similar historic design and are surrounded by tree-lined streets and friendly neighbors. It’s not uncommon to be greeted with a wave as you come and go, and a simple walk around the block feels like stepping back in time. You might even spot small remnants of the past—like marbles or bits of coal—from generations of families who once called this area home.

Location is another highlight. You’re just minutes from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Redstone Arsenal, and downtown Huntsville, making it easy to explore everything the city has to offer. The home is also conveniently located near a large soccer complex that frequently hosts tournaments, making it an ideal stay for teams, families, or spectators in town for events.

As with any historic home, there are a few quirks that come with its charm. There are no bathrooms upstairs, and the staircase is a bit steep, which may not be ideal for all guests. Additionally, the showers operate with a pull-down diverter beneath the tub faucet.
